Family Weekend in Hershey, PA

We spent from a fun-filled family weekend in Hershey in July 2023 - check out below my recommendations on things to do there with your kiddos!

✨ Hershey’s Chocolate World 🍫

We love going to Chocolate World! It’s free to go on the Hershey’s Chocolate Tour ride where you learn the process of making Hershey’s chocolate (with a sweet treat at the end). There are also a number of other activities you can do including the Great Candy Expedition, Create Your Own Candy Bar, and Hershey Unwrapped. This is also a perfect place to grab a meal or milkshake and stock up on all your favorite Hershey treats at the store.

✨ Hersheypark 🎢

Hersheypark offers rides and attractions for all ages, complete with 15 rollercoasters and a huge water park! You’re able to meet your favorite Hershey’s characters there, and find lots of games and yummy foods throughout. You can find a link in my bio with discounted tickets if you’re interested in going!

✨ Hershey Gardens 🪴

Hershey Gardens consists of 23 acres of beautiful plants and flowers. It offers a large tropical Butterfly Atrium and an interactive Children’s Garden. This is a perfect place to enjoy nature with your little ones. The Children’s Garden offers lots of hands-on activities for little ones.

✨The Hershey Story Museum 🎩

This is where you can learn all about the history of Hershey’s Chocolate and the story of Milton S. Hershey. It’s an interactive experience that’s great for families. There’s also a chocolate lab where you can learn first-hand how chocolate is made, and try it yourself!

🔹Pro Tip: We stayed at The Hershey Hotel, and one of the bonuses was free admission to Hershey Gardens and The Hershey Story Museum. Check out my other blog post about our experience staying there!
