Hersheypark Halloween: A Family Adventure Full of Treats, Rides, and Smiles

If your family leans toward pumpkin-themed fun rather than heart-pounding scares, Hersheypark Halloween is the perfect balance of both. Even for parents who secretly enjoy a few spooky frights, the park keeps things approachable for little ones while still offering festive thrills for older kids. From colorful decorations that practically beg for photos to seasonal chocolate treats at every corner, the park transforms into a full-on Halloween wonderland.

Treats, Rides, and Family Fun at Hersheypark

My kids couldn’t get enough of Treatville, where they went from one candy stop to the next, their little bags quickly filling with Hershey favorites. Every turn brought a new burst of excitement. Costumed characters popped up, giant pumpkin displays appeared, and little surprises were tucked around every corner. I couldn’t help but smile and sneak a few chocolate pieces right alongside them, realizing that part of the magic is simply enjoying these moments together.

The Hershey Glow Dance Party at the Music Box Theatre was another highlight for my little ones. My kids danced, spun, and laughed while colorful lights flashed to the music. Meanwhile, I got to enjoy seeing them let loose in a safe, energetic environment. And yes, maybe do a little grooving myself. And if your kids love animals, ZooAmerica is an unexpected gem. While we stuck around before the “Creatures of the Night” program started, they were fascinated by the owls, foxes, and other wildlife, making the visit feel like a full day of discovery.

Of course, no Hersheypark adventure is complete without the free Chocolate Tour Ride at Hershey’s Chocolate World. The kids loved learning how chocolate is made, and I won’t lie, tasting some along the way made it extra sweet. By the end of our visit, we had sugar-fueled smiles, sticky fingers, and a lot of happy memories that will stick with us well past Halloween.

Our little crew had a blast exploring Hersheypark Halloween! From daytime rides to Treatville goodies, every moment was full of smiles, giggles, and maybe a little chocolate-induced sugar rush 🍫🎃. What’s your favorite part of a Halloween adventure?

Why Hersheypark Halloween is a Must-Visit

Whether you want to go full-on spooky cute or sneak in a few shivers of thrill, Hersheypark Halloween makes it easy to do both. Every corner feels designed for wonder — from the whimsical decorations to the interactive experiences, to the treats that practically beg to be photographed before disappearing into little hands. It’s not just a day at a theme park; it’s a family adventure that turns into stories, laughter, and traditions that your kids will remember for years.

Making the Most of Your Halloween Adventure

If you’re planning a Hersheypark Halloween visit with your little ones, my advice is simple: embrace the treats, the rides, and the mini surprises along the way. Let them explore, let yourself be silly, and take in all the Halloween magic that makes the park such a unique, family-friendly destination in PA. I guarantee that by the end of the day, you’ll have as many smiles and giggles as your kids do, and maybe a little chocolate on your shirt to prove it!

From candy hunts to rides to the dance party, Hersheypark Halloween keeps the fun rolling. I can never pick a favorite — how about you?
